Built from the scraps of a city destroyed by an earthquake, the city of Hogwash is the last pinnacle of civilization in the Down Below. The buildings are unstable and rusting, giving the entire city a glow of mute red. Many of the streets have been leveled by the earthquake so the city is very uneven. It is a silhouette of great cities past and offers the ruined world the comforts of entertainment and sin. Claimed by the Scarlet Guns.

From a distance, Junkyard Downs looks like a large city dump. However, those piles of garbage and scrap metal are actually the homes and businesses of the citizens of Downs. All of the buildings look very patchwork, as they are scraps of metal from anything and everything nailed together. The community is small and personal. After living there for nearly all of their lives, people have gotten used to the rotten odor. Claimed by The Black Collars.

Most outsiders do not know exactly how Ravageland looks. This is because most people get deterred by the skeletons hanging like ornaments on the gnarly and withered black tree that marks the start of Ravageland. Ravageland itself consists of one small and incredibly run-down desert town with a large well for a water source. Because the days are so hot, and despite the fact that it can hit well below freezing at night, the town is nocturnal. Claimed by The Ravage Family.

Lawless is a sanctioned, western-style town that serves as neutral ground for the people of The Down Below. It is the only place in all of the Below where the gangs meet on equal terms and do not try to take over. The town is also the only territory not claimed by a gang. Instead, it’s made up of people who have settled there and call it home with no decisive leader. There is little to no anarchy, as any sign of trouble is ended with the bullets of the residents.

Celer Raceway rests in the desert wasteland. The outside looks more like a great, rusted fortress rather than a racetrack. Yet, inside there are miles of seats that circle a track big enough to fit a small town. The track itself is a mesh of wide see-through tubes; however, the track changes based on the class of the participating racers.

The capital of The Upside, Adney is by far the most luxurious and most paradise-like of all the isles. Lush and green, the trees bear fruit and the buildings are whitewashed stone. It is considered one of the most beautiful places in all of Khthonia, as well as the most pleasant to be. The King of Elysia and a majority of nobles have settled here. |

Surrounded by a high wall of reinforced metal and covered by an unbreakable glass dome, Holmger is famous for being absolutely impenetrable. It serves as the home base of the Imperial air fleet, also known as H.A.W.K.S. From Holmger, the fleet can protect the Upside from the escapades of sky pirates. As you can imagine, this is the safest place to be and many nobles prefer it over Adney due to the security. Holmger is also more city-like than Adney and is built out of stone and metal alike.

When the royal family and the nobles of Khthonia began to claim the islands for settlements, the King decided to sanction off one island for Aureolites. However, the island he gave the priests and priestesses is situated so high above that it is cold, incredibly windy and foggy. The residents have done their best to make Eyvindr sustainable by making large windmills to provide them with more energy than any of the other islands.

Officially called Garvan by all those who don’t know its secret, The Rat’s Nest is the island claimed by the sky pirates. Because the wildlife of Garvan has mutated into monstrous and deadly creatures, the nobles decided that it wasn’t worth the trouble. The Nest is a city carved within Garvan, safely tucked underground where the strange wildlife and air fleet can’t reach them. The pirate queen has made the nest her permanent home.
