I present you, my introduction! May this lay here and all who come to bear witness to this post realize the extent of my awesomeness! This is my mallet! There are many others like it, but this one is mine!
My current sugar high aside, my name varies between people. James, Jimmy, Shuu, Hiro, Dim, and Mallet Daddy. Take your pick, it doesn't really matter to me. Uhhh, I've had a long career in RPing, though what I'm used to generally consists of writing long stories in collaboration with another writer. I'm talking big, meaty posts that take days to months to complete. Hopefully I can pick up the quicker pace here.
I enjoyed writing at one time, still do, I just can't devote as much time to it as I want to. I have a few stories I'm very proud of, mostly because of the amount of time and actual research I put into it. I was on a Naruto site for what felt like ages, kinda glad it piddled out so I can move on.
I am recently turned twenty-five (so very...very old), I have a brother joining the army, a sister who's just finishing up high school, and I plan on getting married within the next few months to the most beautiful woman on the planet. I am currently apart of the US Navy, learning about my job. I get to work on helicopters and the like. Just got outta boot camp recently, so I'm still fairly fresh to the military lifestyle. We'll see what they end up doing with me, so many apologies ahead of time if I have to drop out of the site for a long time.
Uh, I wish to study animation, character design, whatever it takes to get me into that sort of media. I love to draw but am altogether horrible at it due to my short attention span and lack of continuous practice. I'll get there, some day. Other than that, my time is usually spent gaming or watching anime. It doesn't matter what game, I play whatever I can though I'm a big PC gamer (with underpowered PCs half the time /sigh). My favorite games of all time have to be Soul Calibur 3, Dragon Age, Diablo 2, Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, Persona 3, Dawn of War aaaand I think that's it. There's more, but I played those the most.
Man, that was lengthy. My bad...I'm better at this when actually asked questions but spilling the beans is good enough I suppose. Feel free to hit me up for an RP or whatnot, I'm down for it, especially if it's on the weekends. ^^
