[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/2dvq6j6.jpg,true][atrb=width,453,true] WE WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING BUT LOUD AND NITTY GRITTY DIRTY LITTLE FREAKS GENERAL INFORMATION NAME: NICKNAMES: Xavi (za-vee) or "Kitty" (much to his dismay) RACE: chimera ▬ feline counterpart AGE: twenty + five GENDER: male SEXUALITY: pansexual RESIDENCE: wandering the cities of Khthonia OCCUPATION: an ex-noble ex-H.A.W.K. ex-mechanic racer... at least when his mind is stable enough to compete PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: "Huh... a mirror. I wonder where that came from..." Standing a solid six feet high, and weighing no more than 150 pounds, Xavi is incredibly lanky and seriously lacking in brawn. However, this doesn't bother him... he's damn proud of it, actually. After all, when has a house cat ever been muscular? Of course, Xavi isn't like other cats in every respect. Oh, far from it! For one, when has a cat ever had bright pink fur? As he scratches his shaggy, unkempt hair at the base of his triangular ears (inducing a short, satisfied purr and a twitch from his bright pink tail), he curiously watches his reflection do the same. He feels something unnatural in watching himself... staring into his golden eyes, watching them stare back. When he thought about it, they were rather creepy; they're complete with a nictitating membrane (third eyelid), a pointed slit for a pupil, and the tapetum lucidum which make his eyes glow. As his ears twitch in discomfort, his hair flops down over his right eye -- just how he likes it. He doesn't need to blink, but he does so nonetheless as he grins, revealing the pointed teeth of a predator. Below each eye is a black, triangular tattoo, which he received before he became a chimera. When he sees his reflection he's surprised that they are still there, considering he often forgets about their existence. In respect to his attire, Xavi is a bit unconventional. The only colors he ever wears are bright pink, black, and gold (mostly in the form of shiny chains, zippers, and jewelry). He wears tight, but comfortable clothing which gives his body the most possible freedom of movement. He also tends to show quite a bit of skin. He's not trying to appear sexy... it's just that he feels more comfortable the less he wears. Along these same grounds, he rarely, if ever, wears shoes. Consequently, the bottoms of his feet are the same texture as a cat's pads. He also feels comfortable, almost secure, with collars and chains. He wears them on his neck, arms, ankles, or wherever else they'll fit. Lastly, and possibly the most outrageous part of his outfit, he almost always wears a massive, bright pink, fluffy-beyond-belief boa. Xavi considers it the fur for the rest of his body, and often adorns it with shiny pins and badges (many of which were from when he was in H.A.W.K.). It would be rather unwise to steal this from him, considering that he is incredibly protective of it and he is a mentally unstable, chemically enhanced, predator... even though he doesn't look the part. FACE CLAIM: Boris Airay from heart no kuni no alice PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: Xavi is ridiculously FRIENDLY in his own way. If you do not physically hurt him, you're most likely to be tentatively considered a 'friend' in his mind. He isn't judgmental at all, and is ACCEPTING of any occupation, race, and social class. However, it's incredibly difficult for most people to accept him. Even though he is completely oblivious to peoples' feelings of him, he's surprisingly keen at picking up the emotions of other people towards others. He can act SENSITIVE when the situation requires him to be so, even though he can only maintain this for fifteen minutes at the most. When he's not spraining his brain over understanding deep emotional feelings, Xavi is TONS OF FUN. He lives in the moment, and is never out of new, exciting things to do. He can occupy himself (and everyone around him) for hours on end. And, perhaps most importantly, Xavi is FORGIVING. If you had hurt him for years, he would still give you a second chance to redeem yourself. Granted, he also knows when someone has gone completely beyond the reach of redemption. THE BAD: The most important thing to know about Xavi, is that he is MENTALLY UNSTABLE. His personality essentially has three sections: the most human-like part (which is the dominant personality), the kitten part (a domestic cat, incapable of speech or higher brain function), and the feral part (a hostile and incredibly violent personality capable of human speech and knowledgeable about all sorts of weapons). Granted, these personalities are split further into sub-personalities, but they are not well defined from one another. The latter two major personalities come out periodically, but since they are rather simple I'll focus solely on his human-like personality. Xavi is... well... to put it bluntly: OBLIVIOUS. He no longer picks up on when others feel uncomfortable around him, are attracted to him, nor obviously insulting him. He also sees nothing wrong with cuddling up with complete strangers, or taking something without paying for it. Oftentimes, this gets him into quite a bit of trouble. He is incredibly GREEDY when it comes to shiny objects, Venny included. He tends to hoard it in all sorts of secret places... Places which he often forgets about within a few minutes of hiding it. Yes, Xavi is extremely SCATTER-BRAINED, and cannot focus on (nor remember) any one thing for too long. Don't be discouraged if he doesn't pay any attention to you at first. Just repeat yourself a lot. He's sure to hear you at least once... eventually... maybe... Err, anyway, he's also really IMPATIENT. The longer you make him wait, the more distractions there are, and the more he wants to run around and climb/pet/steal something. BELIEF: For the majority of the time, Xavi believes in no supreme being. However, occasionally he goes on a tirade about how the "God of Fish" has been forgotten and will destroy the world with his "fists of blubbery fury". Luckily, these outbursts occur quite rarely. LIKES AND HOBBIES: Xavi loves FISH. He likes to chase them, catch them, and eat them. They are, in his mind, the most lovable and tasty creatures left on this earth. Mice are overrated. Along with fish, he adores SHINY objects, FUZZY objects, and CAT NAPS. He can't stay still for long periods of time, so he also likes to CLIMB anything from tall buildings, to massive trees, to perilous rock faces. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: DOGS. They just don't like him for some bizarre reason... Also, canine chimeras tend to be hostile towards him. Both of these tend to pull his feral personality to the surface, usually resulting in serious bodily injuries to either the canine or himself. Also, he will never go to RAVAGELAND. Seriously, the place is just downright creepy. ASPIRATIONS: Dreams? Xavi lives in the moment! He doesn't have any deep desires or high expectations regarding his future (unless his fantasies about living in a fishery count). LOOKING BACK: Oh my, where to start? Xavi has had an incredibly difficult life, and has never been fully accepted by anyone. He was born a human noble, but left his family and changed his name to join the H.A.W.K.s, and was thus accepted by neither the nobles nor the H.A.W.K.s. After four years as an airman, working as both a mechanic and soldier, his life would be drastically changed forever. The ship which he was flying on was attacked and destroyed by pirates. There was confusion, panic, and a sea of utter chaos as the ship fell. And fell. And fell. A few had ways to escape -- parachutes and such -- but Xavier had gotten himself trapped in some machinery when the initial shots had hit the ship. He fell with the ship, and crashed with the ship. Luckily, he was brought back from the brink of death with the help of some serious anima splicing financed by the H.A.W.K.s. He was supposed to be in recovery from the surgery for 6 months. He escaped after four weeks. He was alone and seriously confused in the unknown land, Khthonia, for the first time in his life. However, he was saved by someone rather unexpected, in an equally unexpected way. He was taken off the streets by a Class C racer when he had seen Xavi working with some machinery. At first he was reluctant to work for someone as a mechanic -- oh the man plenty of scratch and bite marks all right -- but after a while, he came to accept his predicament. He was given plenty of jobs to do, and was even taught how to race a hovercraft (although he was never entered into any competitions). Xavi had to re-learn how to be human and how to minimize his frequent changes in personality during his time with the racer. Although he had given Xavi his life back, he was still a prisoner. So finally, in a spur-of-the-moment decision, he ran away. He was free. Finally, free. MISCELLANY: Xavi's feline genes provide him with enhanced sight (especially in the dark), hearing, speed, balance, reflexes, and flexibility. Also, although his short term memory is pathetic, he has excellent long term memory.
