Well, It is just a really simple question. I had read through the mechanics of racing and how the dice affects the race. However i don't it said anything about who is front of who! I mean, how do we know who is first or second in the race. What affects the positioning of a person and the factors involved into why they are first, etc.

Basically, it's whoever has the most successes and the actions that happen via the RP posts. For example:
Racer 1: Boosts from the get-go, got two successful dice out of three dice. This would put them in the lead. Racer 2: Attempts to pass Racer 1. If they're successful with more than 2 dice, they pass, they get put in first.
And, at the start of the race, the track master will roll the dice for each person that matches their dice pool. The one with the most successes is first, second most second, etc.

However nevertheless, i have one more final query. By attempting to pass a player how many dices required?

Placement is decided first by "Lead Car" roll, which should be found in the rules if the damned woman is making me work at 5 am. Oh, well there we go the-blue.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=track&action=display&thread=54&page=1Lead Car decides the beginning placement. Passing, which should be there but isn't because I honestly forgot to add it, should cost 4 dice to use. And it does exactly what it suggests. You get to roll 4 dice (I'm not including modifiers in this example), the person you try to pass rolls 2 dice (because it's a reflexive action, for more on those look in the rules). You need to get more total successes than them. You do? You pass them. If you don't? You stay in the placement you have. I have to correct the woman on this matter, boosting is about increasing your speed. It would be one of those modifiers I spoke of, giving you a bigger dice pool for passing attempts or other related actions. This is a good thing. Small Edit: The only other option other than passing to take someone's position is to attack them until you've knocked them out of the race.

I.... I forgot to add the Lead Car bit. /HEADDESK Sorry about that, Melodia! Hope that's all cleared up! Yes! Thank you very much P.D and Pasc. I know that Racing probably wouldn't happen anytime soon until more racers join the site. However since i am a racer, just thought of clearing things off before it gets messy. Ohh and on another note, just a little suggestion. I don't know if i should actually create another thread for the sake of this so i would just say it here. Why not allow terrains to play a part in the race. Like how different maneuvers like ramming into others are also affected by the terrain. Like ramming would be much more effective in crampy areas with many mountains while ramming would be less effecting in perhaps large wastelands. And perhaps how the person posts, the dedication he put into his post and how he describes is actions clearly should play a factor along with the dices. Perhaps 50% of it weighs on how the person actually posts. This would encourage people to do post at their very best all the time.
