About The Dice System

I know, I ask so many questions that you could pull your hair out. But I'm a very curious person. Someone's gotta ask'em .

I'm guessing your Dice System is determined by the mods, or do you have a built in code that determines the rolls? I ask this because I don't see a dice roll button in our posting options. And I found something you might find very handy .

Its a UBBC code that lets you add a dice-button option to posts. You click the button, it randomly rolls a number, and posts the dice image with your post. Of course, it looks like you have something to this nature on the Mods end. Since I checked out a race and you had these similar image in the starting posts you made xD. I just couldn't tell if you were just copy pasting those imagines into the thread, or not .

At any rate, if you don't have this. It might be something you'd like. Unless you prefer dictating the dice-rolls in matches. It could make things a lot more self sufficient so that mods don't have to go out of their way to post in matches. The players can just roll on their own .

I'm gonna throw this out there because...I'm bored and I think I know the answer!

For the dice rolls, a code is used, so all numbers are completely random. Only staff members have accessibility to this code, however.

And the reason for that is that for races, anyways, it needs to be mod moderated to make sure that everything happens is fair and that dice moves are subtracted and added correctly. Without the mod supervision it could easily fall to "set-ups." Like, you don't add up the right amount of dice or if you get a number you don't like, you re-roll. (I'm not sure how the code works but I'm just throwing it out.)

Basically, as an overview then, we do use the dice roll code but races and other systems that may use it need to be mod moderated for fairness.

Hanners got it right! Yes that's the code we use, but there's another code we use that interferes with the showing of the button. However, the code works perfectly fine! And it's like, my favorite code on the site next to the thread tracker code XD

And yeah, I feel it's better to have mods do the dice roles rather then the players to avoid arguments between players. All it takes is one sore loser to throw a bitch fit and give me a headache ><; And we do 0.0; the Questions & More section is for suggestions, just like it says in the board description.
