NICKNAMES: he doesn't usually get nor does he really welcome nicknames though that doesn't stop others from giving him some, which include but are not limited to - fau, freud (?), fau-mart (?!), or simply the good old mr. martel. ... not that anyone would consider that as a nickname, though. RACE: faust is human, though some would probably refer to him as the devil. AGE: having been alive for twenty two years thus far, faust looks exactly his age, no more and no less. GENDER: a male inside and out, faust can be described as a misogynist at times though he does claim otherwise. SEXUALITY: RESIDENCE: faust used to live in the town of lawless till he moved to the isle of adney after he became an s class racer. OCCUPATION: faust is known as a part of the h.a.w.k.s - an airman - although he is in all actuality a con artist... which he shortens into merely "artist". PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: an individual who - when asked - would be more than happy to compare his face to a god's, faust is gifted with quite the outward appearance, which he uses to his advantage, fully. standing at 6'2" with 152 lbs as his weight, faust's slightly wavy blonde hair is longer than most men's and parts of it usually fall around or over his caramel eyes, adding onto that somewhat mysterious aura of his. the twenty two year old loves nothing more than flaunting - subtly of course – his (as he would like to believe) alarmingly good looks on a daily bases. at age sixteen, faust - who was at the time a racer - went and got several tattoos (i & ii), one on the left side of his neck, one that covers most of his left arm, and one that travels from his abdomen area to his backside. this doesn't excuse faust from appearing slightly effeminate however, and if it weren't for the fact that he towers over most females and lacks the right amount of fat in his chest, faust just might get mistaken as a woman. his body itself too is more on the skinny side, as he doesn't eat nearly as much as he used to when he was still a racer, nor does he actually find it necessary anymore to commit a part of his time to physical exercises faust is all about looking professional and eminent. collared shirts and dress pants are clothes that he's often seen wearing, even when he's in his own house. PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: faust comes off as a cultured man. he is intelligent, capable, and worldly, always with quite the charming and pompous air about him wherever he goes. he has high charisma and is - despite what one may think - very approachable, even if most of it is a lie that covers up his less "beautiful" - as that's what he refers to it as - side. it is probably safe to say at this point that faust is a determined individual. meticulous and extremely goal-oriented, this talented twenty two year old always has his sight set on the final outcome though his mindset remains a logical one. he will rarely act without a plan or a scheme of some sort even if he's desparate. underneath all these attributes of his that can also double as negative traits when delved further, faust still has several milder characteristics. he is sensitive and loving in all actuality, though most of these less intense and "human"-like feelings are burried under his layers of ambition. THE BAD: perhaps one of the most arrogant, egocentric, greedy, and materialistic people a person would ever have the opportunity to come across, faust is, in a nutshell, a man with an emperor complex; he believes himself to be only second to god. cunning, coy, and manipulative, faust is silver-tongued and very secretive about himself. he will talk about pretty much anything and everything under the sun, leading the conversation here and there to different directions but in the end, you still won't know a thing about him. faust will never do something if he gets nothing in return. he only approaches an issue if it benefits himself in any way; if he sees a drowning girl, then she would better damn well spit some venny out of her mouth after he saves her. yes, he's usually got an apathetic outlook on life and can be quite spoiled, always believing that his way is the only way until proven otherwise. he can be described as lethargic and most of the time unmotivated unless it's something that relates to him personally. he gets paranoid quickly when it comes to certain issues - for example if it's something to do with women - and is a constant liar as well as hypocrite. and lastly, faust is - despite his denial and avoidance of the subject - a misogynist and quite the womanizing type of misogynist at that. he has a hard time trusting women and can become sexually aggressive when a female royally pisses him off. all in all, faust martel is not a man to be trusted. ever. BELIEF: venny. no, really, that's one of the only things in this world faust really cares for. oh, and sex, too. WEAPON SLOT: faust always carries a whip with him, as he believes it to be elegant and sophisticated, and therefore the ideal weapon for someone of his status. LIKES AND HOBBIES: as a roleplaying swindler, faust's biggest "hobby" of all is no other than conning and cheating money out of people - which usually follow after his "cosplay" sessions where he disguises as different people. another one of his big pastime - of sorts - is racing, as that's what he made a living out of before he became a con artist. in fact, he used to be quite competitive until two years ago. although it's probably more to do with the fact that he no longer thinks anyone is better than him. that doesn't mean however, that he rarely feels pressured. yes, although he isn't too big on smoking, faust still has the tendency to do so especially when he's under stress. he may not be famous anymore, but the truth is, faust still can't get a grip on reality and let go of the fact that he is no longer a racer or the heartthrob of all, so he continues to live the life of a celebrity even till today. such a life also heavily involves a great amount of alcohol and naked women, as well as taking advantage of the said naked women. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: one of faust's biggest pet peeves would have to be defiance. when he wants something done, it'd better be done. he is nothing close to being a rule follower of course, but as the arrogant and spoiled young man that he is, faust absolutely detests it when others don't follow his wishes. and when that happens, he tends to grow less patient and if under the "right" (?) circumstances, that thick, pleasant mask just might crack a corner. needy and poor people also get on faust's nerves greatly and unless under the watchful eyes of important bystanders, he will never - or so he would like to believe - willingly shed a glimpse of sympathy to anyone that seeks help from him. one other very obvious "thing" that faust hates would be women - or rather, he has a complex of sorts when it comes to females. he likes to leave them high and dry and unless he still has some use for a woman, chances are, he's not going to offer any sort of remorse for them either. faust - being way too arrogant and selfish for his own good - also has what people would call commitmentphobia, especially when he seems to believe that he's seen every type of person out there and that nobody would ever be interesting enough for him to "conquer". ASPIRATIONS: faust's only ambition in life is to maintain the respect and wealth he already has. he would also like to screw as many women over as possible, but that's just something on the side seeing as women - being the lowly life forms that they are - LOOKING BACK: lady luck isn't always fair. while there are some that get all the crap raining down on them, there are also others who have incredibly good luck. faust was a man who'd been riding the wave of success since he debuted at age fourteen. his fondest memory then - of course - would have to be when he was famous - more famous than many others of his age. once a legendary racer back in his teenage years, faust's life full of praise and attention ended at age twenty when his career had reached its peak. the cause? a sex scandal. not just any sex scandal, but a sex scandal that involved a whore hired by a group of gangsters that faust had wronged. framed as a rapist and with the dirty pictures as evidence, faust was nearly sent to jail due to the incident which was - needless to say - the turning point of his life. he was given two options - to stay behind the bars for the rest of his life, or to join the h.a.w.k.s and serve on the crew as a policeman of sorts. it was clear which he would rather choose. however, even if he's more than capable of getting along with his coworkers as well as maintaining the peace and harmony in areas he's assigned to, faust soon found his new life unsatisfying. he decided to put his talent with words to use and rather quickly - as if it were a side job - he became a swindler. a roleplaying swindler who jumps from identity to identity. faust has always been a pompous and arrogant man of means, even before he stepped into this field. and although his current jobs are not as easily influenced by scandals, faust still grew into a misogynist thanks to past events; he knows perfectly well that not all women are like that, but nevertheless refuses to view them as his equals. with all those attributes combined, using and abusing women naturally became faust's specialties. while most refer to him as a manwhore or a prostitute, faust chooses to see himself as a businessman more successful than anyone else.
