He has nowhere to go anyway. OCCUPATION: Part of the sky pirates, he is a monkey man who doubles up as a rigger, and specialises in ship maintenance PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: Long, sea-green hair hanging loosely till his waist, Dietrich would give an approving, cocky smirk at his reflection before groaning at the amount of tangles in his smooth silky hair. The truth is that his hair is rather damaged from accidental dips into oil and coincidental brushes with strange liquids while maintaining the ship, but it is a sensitive topic for the vain male. Dietrich ties his hair only when he is forced to do so, but be prepared for a short temper and sulky attitude the entire day if it occurs. He stands at a little over 5’9, and weighs 151 pounds. He arches his back with the sole purpose of appearing taller (he believes it works). If he could, he would even attempt one of those god awful implants to increase his height. He has no tattoos because he “loves his virginal skin”, and is proud of his eyes that match his hair colour. Dietrich has faded scars on his legs and arms from his early days as a rigger. Releasing the sails can be an intensive job, hence his body has developed over the years, becoming leaner and more athletic. His choice of clothing ranges from long-sleeved white tops with zipped fronts and matching pants, sleeveless dark tops and pants, and dressy styles (including his cross-dressing wardrobe). FACE CLAIM: Pokémon, N PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: It may be unbelievable that Dietrich has good points. Still, he is a good listener. He is willing to sit down and be patient to hear you out. He may mutter about how you are wasting his time, but it is just harmless grumbling. He is work-oriented and takes pride in what he does on board the ship. He gives his all into being a monkey man, and is fuelled by his ambition to earn as much venny as possible. He is a witty conversationalist, and loves engaging others in conversations, be it nonsensical ramblings or lengthy philosophical theories. He is flexible and understands the change happens, and will adapt into situations as quickly and smoothly as possible. Overall, he is confident and believes a lot in himself. THE BAD: Dietrich is unfortunately extremely materialistic. He does not hide it in any way, and flaunts his love for venny in ways that could be irritating and as some might say, “incredibly detestable”. Favours and requests are measured in terms of venny or item(s) which can be exchanged for the currency. He is a selfish man who believes that he matters the most, and others should treat him accordingly. He looks out only for himself, and as such, is not the greatest or self-sacrificing crewmate on board the ship. He is a vain attention seeker who thinks that the universe revolves round him, and will be upset if somebody does not give him enough admiration, attention or respect. He does crave love, and will be willing to pay if that person gives him affection, even if it is false. He can be seen to be rather childish in this sense, with a short temper and inability to understand others’ point of view. Being a compulsive liar, Dietrich is unable to break the habit of fibbing his way through life. He does not know how to stop himself, even when telling the truth will not hurt. WEAPON SLOT: Handgun [revolver] BELIEF: He believes in and practically worships Venny, and would probably be one of the first to start a religion based on it. LIKES AND HOBBIES: Dietrich, being the self-absorbed man that he is, enjoys playing with his hair. He finds great pleasure in twisting it into braids, high ponytails, or simply brushing it (at least 99 times a day). He likes being admired and praised by others, as it boosts his self confidence. Showering him with affection and love is like adding nutrients to a plant - he blossoms with joy. Another one of Dietrich's preferences is having lots of venny and expensive items. His hobbies include dressing up in his finest garments for fun, and cross-dressing (his number one not-so-secret indulgence). DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: He absolutely hates doing any “womanly errands” (cooking, cleaning, buying of groceries) as such chores have a high chance of spoiling his manly image (he is delusional enough to think that he looks really masculine). He dislikes having a bad hair day and will flare up at anybody who dares to mention it. Since he enjoys basking in attention, it is natural that he does not like being ignored. He also dislikes losing arguments or debates, and is fearful of losing all his possessions. He avoids and grumbles about those who are richer than himself, and detests doing free labour (yes, including running errands). Messy eaters and insects disgust him. ASPIRATIONS: To be the wealthiest mutant. He is working hard towards this goal by saving up his earnings, though he does have the bad habit of splurging in needless items occasionally. LOOKING BACK: His best memory is when he received his first pay, and purchased a flamboyant outfit that matched his hair and eyes. It has got frills, lace, and fits every girl’s dream of a dress…except that he is a man. His worst memory was when he was robbed in the City of Hogwash, and had to resort to begging so that he may keep his pretty outfit. MISCELLANY: Dietrich is a fan of cross-dressing, and this has been quite a problem in the eyes of those who think that he is too effeminate. However, he only cross dresses when there is nothing urgent for him to complete (and yes, he does wear shorts under the dresses). Also, he loves that his initials spell out B.A.D backwards.
