GENERAL INFORMATION NAME: teppei natsukawa. NICKNAMES: teppei really doesn't have many "nicknames" aside from perhaps natsu which is a part of his last name. RACE: as a mutant, teppei has extremely sharp ears and is able to hear just about everything that makes a sound - which is the main reason why he doesn't trust others easily. AGE: a soon to be twenty nineteen year old. GENDER: if he looks like a male, talks like a male, and thinks like a male... then he must be a male SEXUALITY: not at all picky about his romantic or sexual partners, teppei is considered by many as pansexual though - if he must state so - he would probably say that he's actually more on the undecided side. RESIDENCE: despite having a broken family, both teppei and his younger sister hatori - who's under the "care" of their father - currently live in junkyard downs. OCCUPATION: a junkie, teppei's main way of supporting his family - or what's left of it anyway - is scavenging through garbage piles and dumpsters and collecting valuable recyclables. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: teppei is not a particularly tall young man. standing at a mere 5'9", teppei weighs about 138 lbs and possesses quite the baby face. he has a lanky figure with a headful of black hair that should probably be cut (his bangs especially), as well as chocolate brown eyes that tend to have a certain level of gentleness to them - that, or it could just be nothing more than disinterest. teppei has rather pale skin comparing to the other junkies, possibly due to the fact that he doesn't usually go out on a collecting spree when the sun is up, as he would much rather use that time for naps. he has no tattoos and no piercings anywhere on his body. despite being a junkie, teppei still tries to keep himself clean if not presentable - he is working towards his goal of becoming a musician, after all. his clothes by no means make him look flamboyant, although nearly everybody that knows teppei would describe him as being metrosexual. his taste in clothing differs from normal men and he seems to be quite taken with stylish things - his wardrobe consists of rather slick and fashionable outfits that are pretty much unsuitable for a junkie (not that he would wear any of it when he's out working, of course). it certainly makes him quite girly in that sense but teppei believes that if he's to become a public figure one day, he should at least attempt to look good. FACE CLAIM: SUKITTE II NA YO, yamato kurosawa. PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: for one thing, teppei is - generally speaking - an even-tempered, passive, easy-going, and "chill" guy. he rarely argues or gets into fights with anybody and tends to mind his own business instead of other people's, which could also be a bad thing if one looks at it from another point of view. he is rather clever in all actuality, although he refuses to really work hard towards anything even though he is a somewhat ambitious young man. yes, teppei can be quite the dreamer even if he hardly looks or acts like one. however, teppei has also been described as a rational and level-headed person with a sense of humour - not the best kind of humour sometimes, but he does like to see others smile. all in all, teppei is a good-natured and considerate lad who - despite some of his flaws and such - will never purposely put people down or make them look bad. THE BAD: there isn't much to say about teppei sometimes because he's no more than a normal teenager who struggles through his life. ... okay, that's not entirely true, but it's definitely not far from it either since teppei natsukawa really is a very ordinary boy. the downside of this nineteen year old's laidback personality is that he can come off as being a little too nonchalant - almost as though he lacks the ability to display some "real" emotions sometimes - even if he can also be quite a sardonic individual; teppei is actually capable of turning into a red-eyed demon (metaphorically speaking of course) once he's truly angered. he can be impulsive at times, especially when it comes to things or people he actually cares deeply for. although he does usually seem a bit detached and spacey - aloof, even, despite that pleasant air about him. thanks to his parents' influence as well as the fact that he can hear even the softest mumbling, teppei tends to purposely distance himself from others, afraid that if he grows too fond of them he might end up disappointed. he is doubtful, skeptical of everything, and is a little insecure deep down, which also makes him somewhat of a coward who's afraid of taking chances. teppei often ignores his problems rather than facing them. despite being a junkie, teppei is actually a rather lazy individual who dislikes most things that involve physical movement. he is rarely an overachiever and usually just lets things happen around him. however, don't let his seemingly uncaring - or apathetic, as some people may put it - attitude fool you. truth be told, teppei can be shy or awkward, even if he does like to casually flirt with people sometimes, just to get some amusement out of his rather boring life. BELIEF: teppei is agnostic. although he was once a rather religious aureolite, he stopped believing in god after finding out about his parents' "hobbies", and even became slightly against the idea of a higher power when the said parents divorced. LIKES AND HOBBIES: as mentioned earlier, teppei can be a flirt when he feels like it. as both a junkie and an aspiring musician, teppei loves to make musical instruments out of found objects. although it does get him in trouble once in awhile when he would rather keep the junk he finds instead of selling it off. rainy days, naps, clouds, the sky, and fashion are just a couple things that put teppei in a good mood. his favourite colours are blue, beige, and gray. his ideal relaxation is lying on his back and watching the clouds go by - unless he absolutely must work of course, then he would have no choice but to rely on cans and cans of energy drinks, or just caffeine in general. being someone who likes doing things at his own pace, teppei prefers subtle changes over anything dramatic. he is very fond of physical affection as well - hugging, kissing, patting, etc., are all like some sort of greeting to him. he is likely to do all of them or more without realizing it may cause some people discomfort, even if he isn't necessarily touchy feely in the perverted sense oh, and teppei also tends to chew on things a lot especially when he's feeling anxious or is in midst of a nerve-wracking situation. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: one major thing that teppei really dislikes is possessiveness. he opposes the idea of obessing over people or things, mainly because of his parents' addictions to alcohol and drugs. he is also against anything troublesome and/or extreme, as well as the emotion known as anger (or more specifically when others are angry with him). when facing someone's wrath, teppei is more than likely going to walk off or pretend that he's unable to hear them. that or he might make a simple (yet at times offensive) remark in hopes that it would put them off enough to leave him alone. poems, strict rules, rejection, eerie silence, books, foreign languages, and small animals are all things that teppei would rather avoid. he doesn't like his own enhanced hearing very much either, especially when he sometimes would rather be ignorant about certain things, but it's not like there's much he can do about it. ASPIRATIONS: teppei's biggest dream in life is to one day become a musician. he's got quite the talent when it comes to singing and playing different instruments - especially instruments that he'd put together himself. LOOKING BACK: teppei natsukawa was born as the middle child in his family. he has one older brother - toshi amazake, who is not much more than a twenty two year old money grubbing prostitute nowadays - and one younger sister - hatori amazake, an obsessive sixteen year old young woman with a severe case of kleptomania. the trio's parents - a pair of musicians but also alcohol and drug addicts - got a divorce when teppei was fifteen. while he was left with his mother, the then eleven hatori went with their father (toshi was eighteen at the time). that was teppei's worst memory - when his family was torn apart. on the other hand, teppei's best memory would probably have to be when he made his first set of drums out of the junk he collected. sure it doesn't sound like much now, but to the young teppei who was only about twelve, it certainly was a very big deal - especially when he's never been someone who's persistent enough to accomplish tasks that take more than an hour.
