What $150 can get you at an anime convention
And last, I have a story and picture that is VERY DEAR TO MY HEART.
So, at the Hetalia photoshoot, I saw this amazingly epic America. Why was he so amazingly epic? Well, for one, he was actually a guy. (That doesn't happen a lot.) I really wanted to take a picture with him, but he ran away before I could catch him.
Later that day I saw him at the Great Debate panel, and he was chosen to be a debater. He became even MORE epic because he acted JUST like America. He even had America's voice! But, like before, before I could get a picture he ran away.
So understandably, I was very saddened by this. However on Sunday, I was aimlessly walking with my friends towards the consuite when by the elevators, I spotted the elusive America.
I ran to him, shouting, "AMERICA AMERICA AMERICA!" He turned to me and greeted me, and I asked him kindly for a picture. He replied, "Of course!" with a smile and I handed off my camera and turned to him so we could pose.
As I turned to him he held out his arms towards me and said, "Come here darling~!" and pulled me into a big hug. And that is how we took our picture, smiling like idiots.
It was the best moment of my young life. 8|
