Hey everyone! Spring is almost over and summer is creeping up on us! We've come a long way since we opened on October 18th, and we've gone from being a buzzing bee hive to a gentle hum, but I feel like this past activity check showed our might! It doesn't matter if we have 60 members or 6, we're still a family and we're still standing. So long as you guys want to post here, I'm keeping this place open and will work to improve it every single day!

The staff and I are discussing some fun ideas and changes. One of the changes is that there will be only one inventory per player. The inventory isn't collective, it will just help the clutter problem that we had when there were an abundance of characters. And since I have a bet with the staff that we'll be seeing LOTS of activity come this summer, that's going to help.

Some of you who are wondering about GLOWNATION: It's going, but a lot more slowly. I'm being more perfectionist with it then I thought I was going to be. But that just means it's going to be even more awesome, right?

ALSO, GUYS! I want to hear your input on IC and OOC events! What kind of things do YOU want to see happen here? You can tell us in this thread!

After the OTM nominations, I'm going to do a poll on what the new skin design for TB should be like. I've been working on a dark, evening skin but as beautiful as it is something inside is telling me to stick with a blue (albeit dark blue) theme. What do you guys think? What would you like to see? Or should I just keep this skin but tweak it so it does look different?

Anywhoseits! I personally first had my imagination captured by this very skin you have on the sight. I really like the brightness about it, as opposed to every other site trying to go for the dark and mysterious theme. Honestly, think about the sky, millions of droplets making up the clouds that need just a smidge of light to illuminate the sky! /poet Seriously though, I kind of like the brighter themes, though I do see another theme change sounding good if we go into a Site-Wide Plot like the one I sent you. Sort of to give the feel that the sun is setting on the world. Not as in dying (guess that would be nighttime technically) but just as a bad omen that all is not right with the world. Sort of like in Rift when shiz hits the fan and the sky darkens up and you get that foreboding music rolling through the speakers. =p

GLOWNATION YEAH! ... What in the five layers of the atmosphere is that? Guess I haven't been reading everything that I originally should have, eh?

IC and OOC events. Uh, beer pong? No. I tried. You've gotten my idea for an IC event, but I think that is like a plot more so than an event. Perhaps specials on the markets where certain things get discounted and people get deals... but that isn't really that revolutionary. We should figure out some dates for festivals and whatnot. Just look at Christmas, even those who don't believe in God celebrate it for the gifts, so we could have something for Auerole or whatsherface. As for OOC events, perhaps we could have competitions for the graphic lovers, like random "Who can make the best [insert blank here]" where it could vary from an avatar/sig set of random character up to making some funny little megaman-pixeled sprites of peeps favorite TB character. While I really really really really like the idea of a blue skin, I know what your test skin looks like and I'm in love with it. So so so maybe you can salvage the concept by making everything a dark blue instead of purple? The stars can be white or yellow for sparkle and pizzaz? I also really like the idea of a setting sun --pinks and oranges and such-- but if we're trying to keep to "the blue" of The Blue, then well... *shrugs* It would seem out of place. Light skins are also a plus to save my already old and ailing eyes

Not to give away another project in the works, but what if we made bestiary entires the site event? I know we were already talking about allowing player entries, so what if we just made it more, unno, official? Winners could be rewarded with a thread start discoverinn the beast on top of whatever IC prizes you have in store.

PS: Glow*Nation is another site Pasc is putting together in adjunct with The Blue and its taking foreverrrrrr but the idea is awesooooome
