RACE: Human AGE: Twenty GENDER: SEXUALITY: Asexual, for particular reasons (to be explained below, with his gender) RESIDENCE: Xiang is stationed in Holmger, and lives there because of such. OCCUPATION: A freshly initiated H.A.W.K. groundling. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: Nobody outside of Xue's family knows that he is really a girl. She would have joined the H.A.W.K.s without trying to falsify her gender, but...after a bit of misfortune, her family came across some hard times. It is impossible to survive in Adney while being poor, and Xue knew that as a woman, and especially a small one, she wouldn't be taken seriously by the H.A.W.K.s. So, she enlisted as a male with the name of "Xiang" and after taking all the necessary precautions to try and erase every shred of evidence that she was a female. They do background checks, you know; and somehow, she got in. Thankfully, her chest isn't as pronounced as it should be for a twenty year old woman, but she still binds herself every morning. To prevent harming herself, she takes it off to sleep, and re-wraps the cloth every morning. Making sure it's tight enough to flatten her chest but loose enough so she can breathe, she heads to her closet to get dressed in her usual H.A.W.K. uniform. Checking in the mirror to make sure everything is to code, Xiang heads out to complete the day's tasks. She's not super tall or very broad, but she's not very shrimpy either. She comes in at about 5'6" and weighs a healthy 128 lbs, even though she's still small. Xiang is okay with her appearance, even if she is ridiculed by the other H.A.W.K.s for her size. It's hard for it to not get to her, but she tries to remember it's because they think she's a man that they tease her so much. She usually wore her hair in twin buns on the sides of her head, but since she enlisted as a male, she wears a long ponytail wrapped at the base of her skull. It's a dark, dark brown, but in the right light it looks lighter. Going along with her dark hair, her eyes are a dark brown. When her hair was long and she would wear makeup, it was clear that Xiang was a girl; now that she ties back her hair and keeps her face natural, along with the H.A.W.K. uniform, she makes a quite convincing male. She just prays to Aureole that nobody ever finds out...because she has no clue what'll happen if they do. FACE CLAIM: China and Fem!China - Axis Powers Hetalia PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: Xiang is a rather friendly person, that is for sure. He'd talk to anybody and make friends with anybody, though since he's joined the H.A.W.K.s, he's gotten a bit more reserved. However, Xiang still is a friendly individual; he's kind towards his coworkers and doesn't hesitate to strike up conversation with them. He's the type to have a lot of acquaintances but, as a male, not a lot of close friends. If he didn't have to fake his gender, he'd probably have some closer friends but he can't risk anybody finding out. Speaking of his friendship, Xiang is loyal and would do anything for those he's close to. He's also book-smart. Back when his family had money, and he was a child, he studied with a tutor, and picked up with education easily. He's not necessarily very street smart, but he can remember a lot of pointless information, like when certain wars occurred or who invented what. Xiang is also affectionate, though posing as a male has made him less like this. However, he's still a caring individual and he likes to be close to others. Sometimes it's a bit hard for him to keep that back, causing him stress about getting caught. And lastly, he's genuine. Everything Xiang does can be taken at face value; he doesn't front. There's nothing really artificial about him, he's completely real. THE BAD: Sadly, Xiang lacks tact. He's kind of blunt, maybe taking genuine to an extreme. Its mostly when he dislikes someone though, leading us into another fault: he is vengeful, to a very scary extent. He's got a set of butcher knives that aren't just for cooking... (I kid, I kid...). But if you get on his bad side, he'll probably try to plot your revenge. Nothing serious, of course, just something pointless (yet still painful, probably.) He's also a perfectionist and won't stop perfecting until it's up to his standards...sometimes this never happens. It had always been annoyance to his parents as he'd been this way ever since childhood. On an unrelated note, he's also chatty and won't shut up most days. This also annoyed his parents in his childhood. He's also very prone to stress which can throw a wrench in his plans often. This over-stressedness often causes headaches which leaves him kind of sour. BELIEF: He's fiercely Aureolian. WEAPON SLOT: Xiang has a simple hand gun that he wields. It's nothing special, and it has no name; just a regular old military grade hand gun. Oh, it's black and silver, too. Nothing out of the ordinary. He doesn't want to appear flashy for obvious reasons. LIKES AND HOBBIES: Even if it seems...fruity, Xiang likes flowers. When he was Xue, not Xiang, he work them in his hair all the time, but now he just admires them from afar. His coworkers usually give him a TON of flak for this, but he doesn't care. He also gets teased for his love of cats but he loves them as well. They're the best companions, in his opinion, and if he wasn't suck on the base in Adney, he'd definitely own one of his own. He loves to cook and fancies himself pretty good at it. His favorite dishes are traditional Chinese dishes (as per his lineage) but he'll cook nearly anything. Cooking is something he does to relax, as he's easily prone to stress. Another hobby of his is reading, something he's been fond of since he was a child. He likes the escape of a good book, another way he likes to de-stress at the end of a long day of military duty. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: Xiang is kind of a neat freak, and hates clutter. Maybe it's the military training in him, but he loves a neat and orderly room, cleaned and everything put away properly. Because of this, his bunk in the base is impeccable, and passes all inspections with bright, flying colors. Xiang is a person prone to stress and he hates it. Because of such he gets a lot of headaches and he hates those with just as much fire. When he gets a stress headache, he likes to curl up in his bed with the covers over his head, working his hardest to relax. Unfortunately, he doesn't get much peace and quiet, so he's prone to these headaches very often. He also dislikes rain. He hates the wet, he hates the cold, and he hates getting the sniffles. When it rains he'd rather stay inside instead of get sopping wet, but sometimes it can't be helped, especially with his job. ASPIRATIONS: His biggest aspiration is to get enough money, somehow, to support his family for the rest of their lives. His military salary is helping, but as his family is slightly large, they could use more. LOOKING BACK: Xiang's best memory, to date, was being accepted into the H.A.W.K.s. He had been stressed and worried that they'd find out he'd falsified his gender, and that scared him more than anything. He had no clue what they did to people who lied about their gender, and he really, really didn't want to find out. For weeks he was in knots, but when he was finally accepted, he could relax...for the time being. However, it is still his happiest and proudest memory. However, his worst memory was watching his family lose all of their money. His father had been scammed and through some bad investment choices, the Lin family lost all of their hard earned money...and it was impossible to survive in Adney if you were poor. His parents were too old to work (according to the places they tried to work at) and his younger siblings were too young, so that left everything up to Xiang. His military salary helps, but there could always be more... MISCELLANY: Xiang is a heterosexual, but as he's a woman posing as a man, he acts asexual (because he wouldn't want to get into a relationship with a woman when he's actually a woman, now would he?)
