Ever had a particular song, or even a soundtrack, that you listen and suddenly WHAM! Inspiration hits you and nothing can stop you from writing/posting? Or maybe it's some pictures, photoshoots, fanart that gives you so many ideas?
I have too many sources of inspiration to list them all, so I'm gonna pick two songs for now:
All About Lily Chou The fan-made video + the song = pure win. Epic, really. It's something that many guys of my generation... well, at least from where I come from, can related to in an odd way. The movie had captivated me so I was thrilled when I found this video. It's also one of the pieces that made me realise how much I miss being... young, but glad that I have found direction in life :]
Haru No Katami by Hajime Chitose I first heard of this song when watching one of my favourite anime series - Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror. Watch it, if you haven't already, I promise that it isn't the spine-chilling sort of horror. Even from the song, there's a sense of an inevitable tragic beauty that permeates the series. What the song talks about is a fleeting romance doomed to end, but the speaker has, and will, love nobody but the other...whom she has loved before her own existence. Yeah, sappy eh? xD
