Do not ask a staff member to review your application unless it has gone unnoticed for three days. Also, do not bring up the progress of your application in the c-box. To clarify, we mean that you cannot go "OK I AM DONE PLEASE ACCEPT ME NOW" or "WOW SO HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BE ACCEPTED?" or really anything requesting that you be immediately accepted or that the staff should get to your application. Basically, so long as you don't ask us to accept you or aren't obnoxious about your profile being accepted, you're fine. If this rule is broken, your application will be put on PENDING and it will be put off for a day or two. II. The creation of Mary Sues, Gary Stus, and canon copies will not be tolerated. Mary Sues and Gary Stus are characters that have little to no off-putting flaws; are role played by the player as being incredibly attractive; and are considered exceptional or somehow remarkable when they did little to nothing to earn such titles. Canon copies are remakes of characters from a series such as a manga, anime, or video game series. An application of a Mary Sue and Gary Stu will be asked to be heavily revised. An application of a canon copy will be immediately rejected. III. Please refer to this chart when considering the height and weight of your character. Any character that is gravely underweight with no explanation will require revision. IV. Do not code your own application or use another site’s application when applying for your character. Only use the application code that was provided by THE BLUE. V. If you were asked to revise your application, please make the revisions accordingly. Do not argue with a staff member about revisions unless you feel that you were asked to change a fundamental concept about your character. If you are unsatisfied with the way a staff member has reviewed your application, you can PM one of the admins and ask one of them to take over. VI. You may not join as a gang leader, religious leader, political leader, high-ranking officer, or royalty. Those are all titles that you must earn through the game. VII. Your character MAY NOT own any machinery when you join them. This means no hovercrafts, no machina or aerials... These are things that you need to buy in the game. VIII. You are allowed to make up your own religion or belief system. Just be sure to outline it in the religion/belief system slot. IX. For ranked occupations, you may join as the following: Class D racer; Lord or Lady; Groundling or Airman; Freshblood or Soldier; and for sky pirates you may join as any rank except for Captain and Quartermaster. Your character can also be formerly of higher rank, but they must earn the appropriate level of karma in order to regain their rank in the game. For example, say you want to play a former pirate captain who lost his ship. Well, that's quite all right, so long as he doesn't have all his crew and whatnot. Or you can play a former high-ranked noble who was disgraced, etc. The possibilities in that regard are endless. You can also join as a high-ranked character if they're taking a hiatus but you cannot play them with any influence or purchase anything in the karma shop until they reach the karma level befitting their rank. While in character write one to two paragraphs about how your character views himself or herself when it comes to their physical attributes. Please mention height, weight; hair color, style, type, and length; eye color, skin color, tattoos, piercings, and scars as well as how they feel about their looks. FACE CLAIM: If you have a face claim, give the name of the series and the character. if you are using images without a series, LINK them here. DON'T post the images in this spot. Feel free to make up a religion. WEAPON SLOT: You may start with ONE weapon if your character is going to be a gangster, sky pirate, H.A.W.K, bounty hunter, mercenary, or hunter. If you are joining a Scarlet Gun gangster then your character must start with a single gun. If you are joining a Black Collar or Ravage family member and want a weapon then it is highly preferred that your starting weapon is a gun. All guns are limited to being either a handgun or shotgun. If joining a H.A.W.K then you must choose between a gun or a sword. You do not have to join with a weapon if you do not want to, but you must buy a weapon slot if you wish to have a weapon after your profile is accepted. Double or multiple weapons such as dual weapons, weapons that can be one but split in two, and set of weapons (i.e., set of knives) are not permitted for your first weapon slot. Aside from a gun, you may not join with a weapon that is featured in the shops (i.e., the spira). PAIR BOND: A pair bond is the bird that an Aureolian has bonded with. You may make up a species of bird, and yes, your bird may be capable of human speech and intelligence if you so desire. Pair bonds may not substitute as a mode of aerial transportation between the islands. Please remove this section if your character does not have a pair bond. LIKES AND HOBBIES: In a paragraph or less, please give us a bit about what your character likes to do and what their tastes are. Do not list them. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: In a paragraph or less, please tell us about the sorts of things that your character dislikes and tries to avoid. Do not list them.
