With the exception of Giloh Bathory each NPC's position can be taken by a member's character after they've worked for and plotted towards gaining the position.
Bathory, Giloh (deceased): A famous scientist, historian, and philosopher who was able to document the last years of Earth in his writings. He did an incredible amount of research on aether that was rejected by the Royal Observatory since it contradicted the research funded by the larger corporations who benefitted from the sales of aether. His findings went unpublished and he died a crackpot about a hundred years ago. Giloh’s research was saved by his family and passed onto the next generation.
Fairholm, Forbes (68): The King of Elysia and former King of Khthonia. King Forbes isn’t the most pleasant of rulers and many people eagerly wait for the day he is dethroned. Unfortunately for the royal family bloodline Forbes is infertile and his queen died some twenty years ago. When he dies or is deemed unfit for his crown a high-ranked noble will replace him.
Montague, Jade (38): The queen of the sky pirates and estranged elder sister to Scarlet. Jade is as ruthless as her sister but knows when to back off, too. She’s much-beloved among the pirates even though there are quite a few who would happily steal her crown. Jade is currently the most wanted pirate in the world with the highest bounty. Due to her deteriorating health she has taken permanent residence in Rat’s Nest.
Montague, Scarlet (32): The leader of The Scarlet Guns. She was the wife of Brighton Hughes, a famous gang leader who first took over Hogwash with his gang The Hot Guns. After finding out about his many affairs with the women in his own gang Scarlet killed him and framed his right-hand man. Since both were out of the picture Scarlet took over The Hot Guns and renamed them The Scarlet Guns, and has banned women from joining the ranks. She is currently the lover of Ezra Powers, though she tends to cheat on him with her underlings.
Pawel, Markos (57): Being the Head of Counsel in Elysia, Sir Pawel is the noble responsible for getting the needs of the people to the ears of King Forbes. Unfortunately Sir Pawel has been twisted by his position and now uses his title for selfish purposes. The people of Elysia are waiting for someone to rise up and rival him come next campaign season.
Powers, Ezra (43): The leader of The Black Collars. Mr. Powers runs the Junkyard Downs with an iron fist and shrewd business sense. He comes across as a pretty nice guy and the fact is, he isn’t so bad. But he has no patience for late payments and has done a number of creatively horrible things to slackers who can’t pay the heavy taxes or to gang members who don’t do as they’re told.
Ravage, Wilkinson (54): The leader of The Ravage Family, Wilks Ravage is both the most charming and the most dangerous man you will ever meet. Wilks runs Ravageland with a tight fist and has nearly every offense imaginable punishable by death. He currently has eight wives but that number changes weekly since he tends to kill some off to make way for new and younger wives for himself. He is loathed by everyone – even by members of his gang – but he is so feared that uprisings aren’t a regular thing.
