They are typically a part of daily life.
CAR: Cars are old forms of transportation that still run on gasoline instead of aether. They are called ‘the poor man’s vehicle’ because they are one of the cheapest forms of transportation. They are no longer manufactured so all cars are old and second-hand. They come in all shapes, sizes, models and colors. Cost: v100
ROAMER: A roamer is a scooter-like contraption that hovers about two feet off the ground. Unlike a scooter, the platform to stand on is more circular than linear. The helm is adjustable so that it can fit every body height. The shape remains the same but it comes in all sorts of color schemes, the most popular being silver. Cost: v150
DRIFTER: A drifter is a board that hovers several feet off the ground. It can be used for transportation but was designed more for entertainment for teenagers. Drifters come in all different colors and lengths, but the somewhat eight-shaped design of the board is universal. Cost: v150
GULL GLIDER: A gull glider is a type of hang glider that is fueled by aether to assist in gliding rather then solely using the breeze. They come in all colors but silver is the most popular. Cost: v150
IMP: An imp is a tiny robot with a limited artificial intelligence program that is used for chores. Most do not speak, are completely obedient, and do not exhibit strong personalities of their own. They are usually the size of a small child but they are also quite strong. Their looks differ depending on model and brand, but they always look metallic with lamp-like eyes. They are never made to look human and do not have a distinct gender. Cost: v200
NOMAD: A nomad is a dangerous but highly desired and very fast mode of ground transportation. The shape is reminiscent of a jet ski and it hovers a few feet above the ground. All nomads look vaguely different depending on brand and model, and they come in all different color schemes too. Cost: v230
GOLEM: A golem is a large, human-shaped machine with overly large arms and no back. Golems are typically used for construction work and to transport heavy objects within a short distance. They move very slowly but are very efficient. The cockpit is in the back of the golem, and the pilot must insert their arms into the golem’s and control them by pulling on several metal bars within the arms. Golems have a limited A.I. that allows them to operate on autopilot and voice commands, but it’s always better to pilot one yourself in order to avoid hazards. They are usually around seven to nine feet tall, five to seven feet wide, have lamp-like eyes and come in shades of brown and gray. They are used in an illegal sport called Golem Grappling. Cost: v300
