RACE: technically, he's a mutant, though aureolians believe he is a son of aureole, based on the sole fact he was born with wings. AGE: 19, nearing his 20th birthday GENDER: male SEXUALITY: erion's never really taken an interest in women or men; he's mostly concerned with himself. this isn't to say things couldn't change. RESIDENCE: the holy city of eyvindr, residing in the temple of aureole. OCCUPATION: not applicable. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION REFLECTION: erion isn't the type to be obsessed about his looks. he's not vain, just self-centered, if such a thing were possible. he doesn't stare at himself in the mirror often, but he'll look when he's in the bathroom, when his attendants are caring for his hair or dressing him for the day. this isn't to say he doesn't appreciate his looks or that he thinks he's disgusting. rather, erion is pleased with his outward appearance. he stands at a rather tall 6 feet, with a matching and healthy weight of 158 lbs. he keeps his pale blond hair rather long, and it is a huge headache for his attendants to keep it looking presentable. he refuses to cut it, however, and steadily keeps it long enough to go past his waist. sometimes he'll wear it up in a ponytail, but usually he lets it go freely. his eyes match his hair, being a deep golden color. his skin is pale, but not ghostly, and is free from tattoos and scars. each of his ears is pierced with a small blue stud. he usually wears loose clothing, at least on the top portion of his body. his pants range from being rather close fitting, or loose like the rest of his garments. long cloaks are also a favorite article for him. his clothing is usually light in color, mostly white, and a few red cloaks, as red is one of his favorite colors. however, the most impressive (and noticeable) aspect about erion is his wings, which are large and white and resemble an angel's wings, though they're constructed more like the wings of a bird. he was born with them, and nobody really knows why. his parents, who are both aureolians, took this as a sign from aureole that their son was actually a god, the son of aureole. this is why he was brought to the temple only a few days after being born, and his parents gladly gave him to the temple for safekeeping. while erion is living the life of a earthly god, scientists try to tell everyone he's just a mutant. only the hardcore aureolians believe he's a god, while most elysians don't pay him any mind. FACE CLAIM: krad from d.n.angel PERSONALITY AND MORE THE GOOD: when he isn't angry, erion is usually rather calm. this goes hand in hand with him being quiet as well. as long as he isn't upset or yelling, he keeps to himself and stays quiet, unless he need something from his attendants. and even then he won't yell or demand, he'll simply ask. it won't be polite, but he'll ask, usually in a monotonous drone. two traits that don't ever see the light of day are his creativity and his modesty. erion can be a creative person, and he likes the arts a lot, especially painting and music. most people don't know he paints and can play the violin and piano. even most of his attendants don't know this, because he usually forces them out of the room when he wants to paint or play an instrument. as for his modesty, this may be because he never gets out and does anything, but erion is modest. he clothes himself appropriately and has never even been in a relationship, let alone had feelings for anyone. it could be his naivety or it could be his caretakers trying to preserve his image, but erion is rather modest. he is also very intelligent, as he taught himself how to play violin, play piano, and paint. he also has intelligence in other areas. he loves to read, and has been hooked on it ever since a tutor taught him when he was a child. THE BAD: erion has always been extremely spoiled. ever since he was a young, young child he's been given whatever he wanted, and it is a hard habit to break. in fact, even at 19 years of age he still gets childishly upset if one of his attendants can't get him something he asks for, or if they take too long in completing one of his requests. he's also quick to anger which doesn't fare well for those who get him riled up. he's got an incredibly short fuse and can literally blow up in a second. in relation to this, he also has a bad temper and once he's angry, he stays that way for a while. when he's upset he's an extremely unpleasant person to be around. erion is also rather power hungry. he'd do almost anything to gain power, though since he has a high standing in the aureolian church, he usually doesn't have to try too hard. however, since he hopes and plans to gain more power in the future, he's almost itching with the desire to become more powerful. lastly, erion can be a bit on edge. its not quite to the level of paranoid, but after an incident when he was younger, he's always been kind of keeping one eye open. this leaves him a bit jumpy and if you were to approach him and startle him, he'd more than likely go off on you. it's best to treat him with caution...he's literally a bomb waiting to explode. BELIEF: obviously, erion is an aureolite. he's not extremely hardcore into it, which may seem odd, but erion doesn't really...do anything. he never leaves the temple, and the only people he talks to are his attendants, so he's never had the chance to experience anything else. basically, he believes because he has to, and because he does believe he's a son of aureole. LIKES AND HOBBIES: as stated before, erion likes music and painting. they're two of his favorite hobbies, and he could spend endless hours doing either. unfortunately for him, he likes to keep these hobbies secret and his attendants are usually around him 24/7. he has to force them out of his room to play his music or paint. he had asked for a violin and a piano when he was younger, but no one ever had witnessed him playing them. the truth is that he taught himself both, along with painting, while he was in solitude. he also loves to read and requests that many books be brought to his room. on that note, erion absolutely loves to get what he wants. it comes along with being spoiled, and he's incredibly too used to getting every little thing he asks for. he doesn't really take well to "no," so it's really best just to bend to his demands. usually they aren't too crazy, but he has his moments like everyone else. erion also likes to be left alone. he's a solitary person, has little to no friends, unless you can count his attendants as friends. he doesn't particularly like any of them, however. he'd prefer to be in his room, alone, either painting, playing an instrument, or reading. DISLIKES AND TURN-OFFS: erion dislikes two different types of people. firstly, he really hates people who boss him around. he's definitely not the type to take orders. rather, he feels it should be the other way around. he's really got a huge ego on his head, doesn't he? secondly, he really doesn't like people who are pushovers either. though he hates being told what to do, he'd still like someone who could stand up for themselves. unfortunately, his attendants are pretty much the pushover type. another thing that grates on his nerves is being told he's a mutant. he really does believe he's the son of aureole, but mostly because that's what he's always been told and he's never been given reason to disbelieve that. at least until now. and he doesn't like to too much. he's not a big fan of loudness as he likes to keep to himself. he's a solitary person and he can stand quiet noise, but loud, booming noises just give him headaches. he also doesn't like large groups of people for this reason; he also hates crowds in general due to his solitary nature. ASPIRATIONS: truthfully, erion hopes to become one of the most powerful people in elysia. he believes he has a good chance of achieving this goal, as he already holds a lot of power in the aureolian church. the only obstacle he has are those who don't believe in aureole, specifically the scientists who are telling the public he's only a mutant. erion finds this annoying and refuses to listen, and it is one of the reasons he stays in the temple all the time. LOOKING BACK: erion's fondest memory is from when he was sixteen. he had received his piano when he was seven years old, but he hadn't wanted to try anything else. however, at age sixteen he decided he wanted to try violin. he requested one and a few days later, one was at his door. forcing all of his attendants out of his room, he immediately began to practice. by the time his nineteenth birthday rolled around, he had taught himself a good deal. he'd forgotten how much he enjoyed music, as the piano was getting boring, though he still liked it. erion always looked fondly upon receiving his violin. erion's worst memory takes us back to his childhood. when he was five years old, the temple started getting strange letters detailing how the anonymous sender was plotting to kill erion. the workers at the temple didn't think much of it, though they did increase security around the young boy. the letters were poorly written and after a few weeks of a lockdown, nothing happened. but just as soon as the workers loosened their guard, there was an attack. thankfully erion was saved, but his attacker escaped, and nobody reportedly recognized who he was. it left erion shaken and to this day he's still wary of most people.
