I was happy to see how many people responded, and the stories were simply amazing! It was incredibly hard to place everyone this go-around due to the quality of the entries... everyone just did great! However, there were a few stand outs:
FIRST PLACE: First place goes to OFELIA POWELL for displaying the Aureolian aspects of the holiday as well as telling the touching story of her daughter's birth. Ofelia wins v100 and the Halo's Feather.
SECOND PLACE: Second place goes to BENELLI RAVAGE, who made me shudder while reading the story about how he became a chimera. The line "The hunter is thankful for but one thing: his prey" was absolutely genius and made me shiver! Benny boy wins v65 for his efforts!
THIRD PLACE: This was the hardest one to place, but its been decided to be given to DIETRICH BRAACH. Dietrich wins v50 for his very sweet and rather creepy piece!
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Honorable mentions are given to Dampiere Chevalier for her creative method of story telling through a letter, and to Matt Cross and Rosalie Ramsey for their touching and beautifully written coming home pieces about their fathers! They all get v35 for their efforts!
FOR PARTICIPATING: For taking their chances and also giving their all, Elynna Sparrows and Excelsior Chevalier each receive v25.
