The board is always full with jobs, and many people who come to stop for a drink are seen tearing a job from the wall. After you select a job, don't forget to talk to the bar tender for some further details!
GUIDELINES There are a few guidelines to follow before you take up a mission:
ONE. You may only take on one mission at a time.
TWO. Anyone can take up a mission so long as it seems logically plausible they'd take it. The missions aren't limited to bounty hunters, mercenaries, and hunters but that's who they are designed for. However, please think logically. Your bar maid female character isn't going to suddenly go out into the woods and kill a horned wolf for money. Make sure your character is capable of taking on these missions.
THREE. You may partner up with others on a mission. However, the reward venny will be split between the characters.
FOUR. You may decide to do a story mode mission (you basically write the mission as a short story), an RP mode mission (must happen if you partner up with someone, basically the mission is RPed out between the people involved), or a mod mode mission (you and a mod RP the mission out, with the mod providing prompts along the way). All mission threads must follow the site's standards for posts and must have a clear beginning, a tale of pursuit, and a clear ending resulting in the success of the mission.
NOTE: Any venny earned while RPing the mission will be negated when you come to collect your reward. The only venny you will earn from a mission will be that mission's designated reward. Bonuses are usually awarded when a thread displays an exceptional story.

BOUNTIES
MISSION 1: TAKEN A man in debt to a Captain of the Scarlet Guns has decided to run instead of paying off his debts. The Captain has decided to handle this quietly for some reason, and has put out an unofficial bounty for v150 on the man. The man was last seen running towards the desert between Lawless and Ravageland.
MISSION 2: TAKEN A H.A.W.K has gone missing from duty. While normally such a disgrace would be immediately discharged and dishonored, this particular soldier stole the plans for a warship design. An official bounty of v200 has been called out on them. The target is said to have been heading to Garvan in order to put the plans on the black market.
MISSION 3: TAKEN A Lord has put out an official bounty for a feline chimera woman who he claims has robbed him. The bounty has been set at v150, and the target was last seen in One Man's Graveyard.
NOTE: What the bounty hunter of this mission won't know at the beginning is that the chimera woman is no thief, but rather a former servant of the Lord's who witnessed him murder another servant. She fled so that the same didn't happen to her, but now he's spreading falsehoods about her to make her seem like a common thief. If you find a way to prove the woman is innocent and that it's the Lord that needs to be taken in, you will receive a v50 bonus.
MERCS
MISSION 4: TAKEN An S.O.S was received from a family that was left behind on an island taken over by raiders. Raiders are vicious, empirical savages that take over the lesser islands that are unprotected by the H.A.W.Ks. Even though the H.A.W.Ks received the S.O.S, they are unwilling to send anyone over there. However, they are offering v250 for any brave bleeding hearts who want to try and free the island from the raiders. Must have at least one partner in order to take. RESERVED FOR MARCUS & SON
MISSION 5: TAKEN A merchant has put out a request for a body guard. The guard needs to help the merchant reach Eyvindr without getting kidnapped by pirates. Apparently, the merchant has pissed off a certain quarter master by stealing something of his. The price for the job is v150.
HUNTERS
MISSION 6: TAKEN A group of miners in Ravageland went down a shaft and never came back, as well as the search party that went in after them. There were no cave ins, but it is suspected that some sort of animal or a group of animals living in the mine shafts may have gotten to them. A hunter is needed to go in, look for survivors, and kill whatever it was that made a meal out of those miners. The job is v150.
MISSION 7: TAKEN A pack of horned wolves (nocturnal wolves the size of large horses, the males have dear-like antlers on their heads while the females have small stubby horns) has been inching closer and closer to Lawless in order to get into the water supply. They've already attacked and killed human family and two rookie hunters. The people of Lawless are shutting themselves in until the problem is stopped. The reward is being offered by the people of Lawless, who pulled together to offer v200 for whoever comes and gets rid of the pack.

When designing a mission, please keep your character's personal limits and abilities in mind. Do not design a mission that would be impossible for them to do unless you plan to have them fail for plot purposes. The rewards for the mission will be decided on the staff member approving the mission. Typically missions will cost v150 while missions with special circumstances will cost v200. Missions that are both a high priority and designed with a partner in mind will pay anywhere between v250 to v350. It is incredibly rare to receive a v350 pay out.
The form for designing a mission is in the sign up thread.
